Favorite memory: One of my fondest memories was our first ever cooking clinic at Scarlet Oak in SW DC. I had just joined the organization as was expecting to help with registration or something administrative, but it was a small clinic and Glenda needed me in a volunteer capacity. I was so fortunate to be paired up with Frankie – we had the most incredible time making omelets and having fun in their kitchen. It has been such a joy to watch Frankie grow throughout the years at our programs and looking forward to many more! 

Fun Fact: I concepted and produced a mini web series that won a New York Emmy Award.
